Kade's first bite!!!!

Kade wasn't sleeping very well at night and was trying to grab any food I had in my hand, so we decided to try some rice cereal and see if that would help. He wasn't so sure about it the first couple of times, but now he really seems to like it. Here are his first bites we captured on camera.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We had Star Wars heroes and villains and incredible hulk. I tried to talk Ty into being Luke and keeping the Star Wars theme, but he wouldn' t have it. We went over to the church ate chilli and did a trunk or treat. What a great idea that is. No more walking door to door and you get it all done in about an hour. Afterwards we went to our neighbors for more food and games. Dave shocked everyone with his tennis pro outfit. He was wearing my short shorts under his pants and he pulled off his pants with one tug and showed off those lovely Greenwood chicken legs. Sorry, I didn't get a picture of that. We have so much candy I am sure my kids are going to be bouncing off the walls for weeks, but hey that is the best part. Candy!!! I hope all of you had a wonderful Halloween and I am sorry we missed all of the fam this year and all of the little ones costumes.

Bitter, Sweet

Well today my little boys got a little bigger. Jase had his first day of kindergarten and Ty had his first day of preschool. The morning started off okay and we seemed to have plenty of time to get ready. But getting us all dressed, fed, and the baby fed took a lot longer than I had anticipated. The boys wanted to wear their new shoes and I hadn't planned on that. I thought I could talk them into their crocs for a couple more days, but nope they wanted their new ones that require socks and tying them. I looked over at the clock and we had to make it to the bus stop in 3 minutes. We ran out the door and half way down the street I had to pick up Ty because he was slowing us down. So here I am pushing the stroller and holding Ty and I have Jase at my side running as fast as he can. Just in time for the bus to pull up and get on it. After Jase got on the bus and was pulling away, I thought I hope he remembers where to go. This feeling of worry went through my body as I realized all of the things I had forgotten to tell him. All of the sudden my little boy was off to school and I would not be their by side to make sure he was okay. It was an awful feeling. No time to waste though, I had to get Ty to preschool. I always thought that Ty going to preschool would be a challenge and I would have to stay there with him of awhile. Buy my little Ty has grown up. He walked right in and showed his new teacher his school shoes and said "good bye, mom." I couldn't believe it. I went back to car with the baby and realized I have over two hours with just me and him. What was I going to do with myself. Sleep sounds good. Anyways, I picked up the boys at the bus stop from school and they had a blast. I can't believe how fast they have grown up! This is the beginning of a new era for us and I have to stay it is a lot harder then I thougt it would be. I wish I could keep them in a little bubble and keep them this big forever, but I can't. I love my boys and it has been so much fun watching them experience life. I can't wait to see what comes next.

More Pics of Kade!!

My neighbor just got a new camera and asked if she could practice taking pictures of Kade. So I gladly jumped at the chance to get some pictures taken of my new babe and here is how they turned out. Thanks Kim!! They turned out so good and I am so grateful to have them.

Nap Time!!

I don't know why but there is something about holding a baby that makes me so tired. (Dave too.) I think I have a picture like this with all three kids. Dave hasn't had much time to bond with Kade so here is one of the only pics I have of them together. Don't they look like twiners? I think so.

Brotherly Love!

Jase and Ty seem to really love their new brother. Ok, maybe Jase more then Ty. I am so surprised at the big brother Jase has turned into and he has been such a good helper. Jase loves to hold his new baby brother and watch cartoons. This time around it is so nice to have a child old enough to help a little! Thanks Jaser!!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!

We definitely have had quite the winter this year living up in Midway. Here our a couple of pictures of the snow we came back to after our family trip to Disneyland the first week of February. Our neighbor was kind enough to rent a kabota to clear our driveway before we came home, or we would not have been able to make it up our driveway over the 5ft snow pile. So anyways, here they are.

And then there were three...

So I had my ultrasound for the baby a couple of weeks ago and I found out that I am having another boy. I adore my boys, but I just never pictured myself having three boys running around the house. I was really hoping for a girl so my family could be complete, but I guess there is another plan for us. So if anyone has some suggestions for boys names we would love to hear them, because we are at a definite loss on this one.
